Joseph x Museum of Fine Art Houston

Whilst to some Spring 2019 seems a good while away yet, here in the Joseph Massie Studio we're already planning for some incredible projects to come.  With big projects firmly mind we're delighted to share that next Spring,  Joseph is delighted to announce that he'll be in residence at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Texas, USA, for a series of couture floral art events at one of the largest museums in the United States of America.

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston boasts an incredible permanent collection that spans over 6000 years of history and 64,000 works from an impressive six continents. Alongside this remarkable collection the MFAH also benefit the Houston community through many community programs, publications and presentations. Every year over 1 million people benefit from the museums programs, workshops and resource centres.

In April 2019, as part of the Musuem's Florescence event program, Joseph will be providing an exclusive floral art lecture to an audience of 350 people followed the next day by a more casual talk on his floral art journey to an audience of approximately 450 guests. Joseph is always delighted to be invited share where his journey has taken him within the floral art world, and of course to be creative with incredible flora in some of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

Joseph's lecture at the MFAH, adds yet another highly notable institution to his portfolio, marking Houston as the fourth major art institution to host him for specialist lectures and events in recent years.

Joseph has had the honour of lecturing and demonstrating at some of the worlds noted institutions including the Detroit Institute of Fine Arts (2016), the Museum of fine Arts Boston (2018), and the Dixon Gallery in Memphis, Tennessee (2018).
