March is a time of new beginnings, with blossom beginning to peek through in trees and with hopefully warmer weeks to come, there is a lot to be excited about - including our March giveaway below ...

With a revised and expanded version reprinted in 2017 for the third edition, in this little gem we will find the most up to date care advice for the most commonly reached for florals used by a commercial florist.

‘I have added some new pages’ says Su Whale, author and publisher, ‘one which is aimed more at the customer on how to select fresh flowers, plus two new flowers, Jatropha and Oxypetalum and an extra page on lilies, making a total of 156 flowers in all. With short print runs, we are able to constantly update and revise, and I hope that students, florists and flower arrangers will continue to find this book invaluable.’

The book itself is an easy to use guide containing a comprehensive detailed explanation on 156 cut flowers, with an abundance of information and advice on what to look for when buying cut flowers, care in the flower shop, suitability for weddings, top tips and botanical information. This handy little book should have a place within every seasoned florist shop, student or floral enthusiast and hobbyist.
